The unipolar world order based on US hegemony, finally established on 26 December 1991 with the collapse of the USSR, is now a thing of the past. The emergence of a powerful China on the global chessboard has overturned the established order. However, the incumbent hegemon remains strong, while the pretender is in trouble. At the same time, perhaps the greatest technological revolution known to man is unfolding before our eyes - the exponential development of artificial intelligence.
So one thing is known - that nothing is known. History is being written before our very eyes, and it is a fascinating story about the challenges of the modern world: empires, powers, states, organisations and individuals.
Good Times Bad Times was created to try to understand these extremely complex dynamics of the modern world. We focus on the essentials, without imposing geographical, thematic or mental barriers.
However, our cognitive capacity is limited, so if you want to help us describe reality, there is an opportunity.
We remain open to publishing texts from readers and established writers on our website. The prospect of publishing a text on the website is left to the subjective judgement of the Good Times Bad Times team.
If the text turns out to be good, we are willing to buy the rights to it and produce a video based on it for the GTBT channel.
